  • I Say No Matter How I Try I Realize There’s No Reply

No answer to your prayers, to that wish at 11:11, to your burning desires? No surprise there. Life is short, then you die. Live for yourself first above all else. Show compassion but maintain a certain level of selfishness. Do what feels good, for yourself and no one else. Try all. Let the music be the background to the action movie of your life. And lead a life worth watching in theaters. There is nothing sure, certain, definitive. There is just you and there is just now. Everyone else is a game piece and this is your Life, like the board game except real (what is reality anyways?). Always be prepared for the unexpected, and don’t let opportunities slip by. Why am I lecturing to an invisible, virtually nonexistent audience? An audience that has heard all of this crap before? But really, are you truly happy with what you’ve got right now? Look at some stars, listen to music (always listen to music), share a moment. Don’t alienate yourself. Listen to others, let them in, and listen. Listen. Experience. Search for beauty far and wide near and far here and there us and them. We. My first assumption and my last mistake, that true love’s always true. Let the chemicals in your brain drive you to the irrational. But moderation is key. Don’t go totally nuts and do something seriously harmful. Let your logic stray by catching the wave of a passing whim, but be wary of the tide: don’t let it pull you so far out as to lose sight of the shore. My brain functions faster than my fingers - coherency, word choice, and fluidity suffers. This passage just fathomed itself out of the deepest depths of nowhere. My friend engaged me with some ideas about Buddhist ontology today. Another friend got me thinking when she decided to consider doings things that society frowns upon- why not? there’s nothing to lose except a boredom and innocence (which had to go at some point). I have no idea where I am headed, but it will be a fun ride. I took my brain to the laundromat but they told me it was already washed enough.

    Throw away your television.
